IT12 - Students are working on a presentation. Yes, they are using PowerPoint, but it is more about the science behind a good presentation rather than about PowerPoint.  We have not set a due date yet.

Also, most students are starting the Excel Spreadsheet module.

If you have not completed Ch. 4 and/or the Basketball Brochure Project, then you are behind and should spend extra time getting caught up.  June is coming very quickly and you don't want to be trying to make a lot of work in the last weeks. (Take my advice... I have grey hair).

History 11 - We are studying the Industrial Revolution.  Tonight for homework:  complete the 10 questions that we have been working on so far from your notes page.

Also, we are working on a Prezi that features some of the inventions that made the Industrial Revolution possible.  We will only have this week to finish the Prezi and then it will be on your own time.  We'll come to an agreement on a due date Wednesday.

Anyone that wanted a re-write on their last test needs to come in this week for a 1 hour extra help session to qualify for the re-write.

Math 10 - We are finishing the unit on banking,.  I returned the quiz today, so everyone knows if they are ready for the test that we will have on Wednesday.  The test will mostly be banking terms and calculating future value (simple interest formula and compound interest formula).

Extra help is on Tuesday after school.

Homework tonight: Correct your quiz errors (I'll be checking tomorrow)

Gold & SIlver Groups - tomorrow is the last day to receive credit for the compound interest worksheet (I'll be passing them back tomorrow).

We started today learning about the Imperial System of Measure.  Stay tuned for more inches, feet, miles...
