There is only about 9 days left of class before final exams.  This may be my last post for the year so I'll try to outline everything you need to know.  It has been a great year and I am so pleased to have taught you (your children).

IT 12 - Some students are starting to finish the course, others are working to get their work done by the final deadline (the last day of classes).  Students can come in after school or at lunch (3 days / week).

The exam is on Monday, June 9 @ 8:30 a.m.  It is a combination of theory and practical work on the computer.  Exams cover everything since the beginning of the course. Exemptions are offered for students with a 85% average or higer.

History 11 - The most important assignment currently is the semester essay that is due Friday, May 30.  It is a formal essay (with bibliography and footnotes) and it must follow the essay handout, and standards set out on the school homepage. I've provided a rubric so students know how they are marked.   If the essay is passed in by Tuesday, May 27, I will provide feedback that can help you to make changes before it is marked.

The exam is on Tuesday, June 10 @ 8:30 a.m.  Exams cover everything since the beginning of the course.  Exemptions are offered for students with a 85% average or higer.

Math 10 - We have been solving Trigonometry problems.  The practice test that I pass back today gives everyone a good idea of how they are doing.  Extra help is still available on Tuesday and Thursday after school.  The exam review will start on Tuesday of the last week.

The exam is on Wednesday June 11 @ 8:30 a.m. Exams cover everything since the beginning of the course. Exemptions are offered for students with a 85% average or higer.

Distance Ed. - Friday, June 9 is the last day for passing in assignments.  Most of the exams are going to be written on Thursday (eather morning or afternoon).  I've made individual arrangements reagarding exam times.
