One more week until exams start, so I wanted to post a bit of information...

BBT 9:
Exam - Monday, Jan. 20 @8:30am (in the Tech Lab) - This is a project exam.  No study required.  It may take up to 3 hours to complete.

It is VERY important that all students complete their last module this week and get evaluated.  I will be doing marks on Friday afternoon, so any work that you want to contribute towards your marks has to be completed by end of class on Friday (Jan 17).  Come in after school if you need extra time.

Math 11:
Exam - Tuesday, Jan 21 @8:30am (in the cafetorium) - This exam covers all the units from the first of the semester.

  • Unit 1: Algebra (mainly slope and proportions)
  • Unit 2: Geometry (mainly Trig, Scale, and 4 Types of Drawings)
  • Unit 3: Number Sense and Critical Thinking (mainly budgeting, banking, calculating interest, and terms)
  • Unit 4: Statistics (interpreting and constructing 4 types of graphs)

You will need a couple of pencils, an eraser, a scientific calculator, and a ruler.

We have a couple things left in the graphing/statistics unit, but we will be working on review every day.  I've handed out a list of any missing assignments.  They can be handed in up to the last day of classes (Jan 17).

Any re-writes must be completed by Friday, Jan. 17.   Extra help session are available most days up until Thursday.

Math 10:

You will need a couple of pencils, an eraser, and a scientific calculator.

I previously handed out a list of the terms and topics that you are responsible for on the exam.  Also, I cross referenced certain topics to helpful pages in your textbook.   This week we will finish up the linear equations topics and each day we will do some review.

Any re-writes must be completed by Friday, Jan. 17.   Extra help session are available most days up until Thursday.

GAD 11:
